Other services include weddings, photo restoration, mounting and bespoke framing. My 2010 calendar is dedicated to the Macaras and contains black and white photos of the area from the times that they stayed and worked here. The Macaras had a very prominent business here in Moniaive and surrounding district and loved the village so much that they presented us with the land for the park which is now known as The Macara Park. The calendar is an important piece of Moniaive history laser printed to matte paper so that it can be kept for years to come and makes the perfect gift for anyone who has lived here and moved abroad The calendar can be viewed and purchased from Hotchpoch gift shop in the village at the price of £5.50 For further information or to arrange a sitting call George on 01848200470 or see www.georgecrichardsonphotography.co.uk

Kim Ayres Photography

benchKim’s portrait photography experience is not about sitting passively in a studio waiting for your picture to be taken. Instead, he comes out to you and takes photos of you in your own environment. The emphasis is on having fun. Kim brings his laptop computer along with him so you can see how images can be digitally manipulated - whether you want spots or wrinkles removed, eyes enhanced or changed colour, images put in moody black and white (or sepia), or even have your skin turned green and be given pointy ears. Importantly, you will be an part of this process, suggesting ideas and exploring possibilities. The sessions can include singles, couples, families or groups of friends. At the end of the session, you decide which of the photos you want to keep. Kim will tidy them up, then put them on a disc for you to print as many as you want, post on the web or email to your family and friends, without worrying about incurring any further costs.
